West Highland Way 2009

This is my Second time i have walked this route

I had planned this trip ever since last year when i walked the West Highland Way.
Around about April My Mentallly Handicapped Brother ( Ian) Had a Stroke Since then He has been In the Brain Injury Rehab In Victoria Hospital Dundee. I was going to camcel the trip but I decided that I could raise funds for the Hospice. I would like to take this chance to Thank the staff and all who care for ian and to everyone who sponsored me. we raised £310.

I Arrived by train to Milngavie I stayed at the Barloch Guest house overnight before heading out the next morning to drop off my bag at the Travelite van , a good little bag carrying service that drops various stages of the WHW. The whole trip was fantastic and the Weather remained awsome sometimes too hot. I managed to meet some new friends I would like to take this chance of asking If any of these names are yours and you walked with me please email me. " the two policemen from london Yiwan and matt ( i think thats their names) and a nice wee lass called Dachma. The two daves from stonehaven, Barbera and Amanda from aberdeen.
