Only eight of us Turned up for this meet, I think the bad weather forecast may have contributed the small number.

The walk starts from Aflochie and heads northwards over to Tafside going through Tillybardine farm. We did decide on the option of crossing over some little tops (Hill of Mandurran and Tamhilt) instead of climbing down to the road west of Tillybardine.

The Trip was adventurous to many things to mention here that happened that day, one of them was I spotted some small plastic containers neatly piled at the side of the path so I stopped to rest and wait on the rest catching up I took my bag off and leaned it up against the containers. The rest caught up and I went to grab my bag to my horror it was covered in wasps, then they somehow got inside my jacket and I was dancing around like a headless chicken until I took the jacket off and got rid of them
OK how was I suppose to know that the containers were hives he he.


It was a real hard walk through rough heather, peat bog, and marsh...
The total ascent was over 950 Meters but we took some scenic alternatives
And the weather could have been worse it held out not bad for most of the day.
