Ncr Pentland Hills Nov 1st 2009

The Weather was terrible as we started off Near Florterstone Bridge at the Ranger Station, heading up the filter beds to Turnhouse Hill.Then on to Carnethy Hill, Up Scald Law (The Highest of the pentland hills). Continuing on the path until we reached Cross Sward where we decided to start heading back as the weather was worsening following a path down to Lovers Loup. Then we followed the tarmac road all the way back via the north side of the Reservoirs.
We arrived back at Florterstone very early (1:45pm) where we got dried and changed and spent a few hours in the pub getting as wet inside as we were out.
