Glen Devon to Tillicoutry November 2008 NCR

We done a similar walk a few years ago,the only difference is we started at Glen Devon instead of Blackford.
The weather was fantastic for November the still waters on the Reservoirs made still reflections of the rolling hillside that surrounded them. We took a bit longer than we would normally as we all stopped to take in the scenery and try and capture it on film.We started off on the A823, following the track past the fish farm and over by the pipe line of the Lower Glen Devon Reservoir. Staying on this path heading west past Corim Hill and then down to the Backhills Farm.We then went through the farm and headed south west over open country to the top of Ben Buck, then Followed the fence to Ben Cleuch. Panoramic views are amazing up here we seen all the way to the North Sea and over towards the forth and beyond, with all our local glens to the north. After lunch we dropped down via Andrew gannet hill, we decided not to go down by THE LAW it is a STEEP hill and can be slippery. Instead we caught the track at Harvieston glen simply followed the track all the way down to Tillicoutry.Another pint of coke, and a good blether.

Thanks to everyone was one of the best days I had for a while!
