The clocks went back the night before we left. I met leo at 6:30am GMT at the N.C.R and set off for loch muick .

We arrived at the spittal of Glenmuick at 8:30am, a nice early start, and set off towards the lodge simply followed the well laid out track all the way up, we even took in meikle pap where most of the photos were taken of the cliffs of lochnagar. From the pap we climbed the so called ladder marching onwards and still following the path all the way up to the summit of lochnagar (Cac carn mor). We then chose to come down by the Falls of the Glassalt., dropping down to the loch and then following the loch all the way back up to the car park we arrived back at the car park just before sunset at 4:30pm.
I would like to thank Leo for taking me on this trip, this was one of the best Hillwalking trips I have ever had, the company was excellent , we had excellent weather apart from 40 mile gusts as we walked up the ladder but it stopped by the time we reached the summit. Lochnagar is a BUSY walk with people doing different walks but it was enjoyable meeting other people and was not TOO busy unlike the great BEN NEVIS.
