Route: Dalwhinnie
Carn na Caim ( Munro)
I intended on going out on a short easy route and decided to follow Jim and Tom up the So called quarry road.
Simply followed the old Quarry road all the way up to the top stick to the boundary fence and turn Eastwards until the summit of “Carn na Caim” ( Munro) . We then took to rough heather and Frozen peat bog all the way past “Choire Chais” Then turned southwards to “Meallan Nan Uan” and then South Westwards onto the shoulder “An Sguabach”.
We then Pollowed the Path down to the power station and followed the path by the Aqueduct all the way into “Dalwhinnie” to complete the 15.5 Miles and Sore feet! So much for a leisurely walk!.
