Route: Fife Coastal Walk DEC 2006 NCR Summary
We started at Leven, then followed the well marked track all the way to Leven some walkers continued to Anstruther.
It was another VERY windy day gale force winds, luckily the wind was at our backs most of the walk apart from when we climbed some small hills the swirl made it difficult to keep our balance. I was pleasantly surprised at the this nice walk full of picturesque villages and full of historic buildings to explore. One of the Buildings in Lower Largo stood a very small house where the Birth place of Alexander Selkirk a famous Adventurer, the inspiration Of Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe.
We then headed to the inn at Pitenweem and had our xmas high tea
