Dundee Walker

I have always wanted to do Creag Mac Ranaich today was as good as time as any. I planned the walk from Glen Falloch near Ledcharrie.

From Ledcharrie we headed south until we picked up the old railway. Then headed East until GD 527,282. We then headed South East until we picked up the path. Following the path until GD 534.270. We left the path at this point and took to the hill heading for the Summit of Creag Mac Ranaich.
We reached the summit about lunch time; there was a radio ham guy already at the peak trying to contact other members of his club on various other mountains. We also met up with other members of our club doing slightly different alternatives.
We decided to take the long way around as we had loads of time and headed down the same way we came up. Then headed southeastwards following the path ALL the way back to Lochearnhead
