I have done this route before with the NCR a few years back, but still decided to do this pleaseant wal.

Starting from Ballagan Farm on the A891, simply go through the farm and head up hill following the path until it ends at GD REF 580, 805. Then head North-west until you hit the fence, then follow the fence until Earls Seat, taking in Dumbreck, Owsen Hill and Little Earl.
We then headed to the Ballagan Tops to admire the views of loch lomond. Then follow the cliffs to Garloch Hill.
Then down to Dumgoyne, I decided to climb Dumgoyne , it gave fantastic views. From Dumgoyne head South East towards Cauldhame Glen. at the waterfalls head south skirting Craigbrook Wood, and down to the Path at Cantywheery, Simply Follow the path Eastwards all the way to Strathbalne
