Route: Amulree to Birks of Aberfeldy through Nov 2005

Starting from the Hotel at Amulree, head west towards lochan Lodge, keep to the track until GR NN 88035, 37195 then head uphill, keep to the double track shown on the map below.
At NN 86300,41200 head north, be careful of the misleading path at the top of this hill you want to head south-west then zigzags north.
Follow the double track all the way around to the north west corner of Loch Hoil. Climb over the style into the woods, follow the track north west.
There is a Hidden tack heading north to watch out for at approx NN 84900,45983. It is important to find this track, as it is the last point to head northward for some time.
It is tough going all the way down to Margmore, finish Aberfeldy
