Dundee Walker

Route: Fortingall (Schiehallion)

I have done this route Last year with the NCR Hillwalking club , March 2006.
Start at the hotel at Coshieville head west along the small road until you reach Mon, head north heading north-easterly along a double track towards Garth Castle.
Follow the path west until the junction at NN 73830, 51385 head north towards pheiginn’sbothy. (good equipped bothy). Continue to follow the path North to North-Westerly, and then west along south side ofSchiehallion keep to the pathuntil NN72143, 52600 the track ends here.
This is where we decided not to go onto Glemore bothy but to head south east and catch the track heading back, ( rough going through thick heather until you catch up with the track again)
Catch the track again at NN71700, 51685,keep to the path all the way to Fortingall
